The movies leaving Hulu this month
Whether you're looking for family-friendly fare like the new live-action "Lilo & Stitch" or some high-octane action via the latest "Mission: Impossible " movie, "The Final Reckoning," there are plenty of summer 2025 blockbusters to see in theaters right now. Of course, if you'd rather skip the crowds in favor of a chill night on the couch, there are many movies to stream at home instead. Just make sure you know which films are actually still going to be available because movies disappear from streaming services every single month. For example, more than two dozen movies are leaving Netflix in June, and another 15 are getting the axe from Hulu.
There are many reasons why a movie might leave Hulu—the rights may no longer be available, or its popularity may not justify the cost of licensing it, for example. Whatever the reason, you only have a handful of days to catch these 15 films before they're gone.
In May 2025, director Joachim Trier wowed crowds at the Cannes Film Festival with his new movie "Sentimental Value," which received a 19-minute standing ovation. That movie, which stars Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård, and Elle Fanning, will hit theaters later in 2025, but in the meantime, you could check out Trier's other highly revered film, 2021's "The Worst Person in the World." The modern dramedy, also starring Reinsve, is about one woman's quest for love and meaning in Oslo. It's currently streaming on Hulu, but only for so long; you have until June 13 before it's gone from this streaming service.
Two sequels from the German-Swedish-American mystery crime trilogy "Intrigo" are also on Hulu's chopping block this month. On June 4, the streamer is getting rid of 2019's "Intrigo: Dear Agnes," starring Gemma Chan as a wealthy woman who offers her widowed friend money to help her kill her own husband. Then, just a week later, on June 11, Hulu is also saying goodbye to the trilogy's final installment, 2019's "Intrigo: Samaria," which follows two college friends teaming up to uncover the truth about a classmate who disappeared years prior.
